KidsSafeWeb complies strictly with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act. We require verifiable parental consent before any child account can be activated.

Age-Appropriate Tiers

Explorer (Ages 4-8): Highly restricted. Preset chat phrases, mandatory message approval, restricted file types.

Adventurer (Ages 9-12): More freedom, but still monitored. Can type custom messages (filtered for bad words), post to a blog, and manage their own friends (subject to parent approval).
